POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a tractor driven into the front of a Drumchapel house at 3am.
Emergency services were called to the property in Dunkenny Road around 3.15am on Tuesday morning where they found the JCB had driven into the front porch of the property.
Two occupants in the building were uninjured and are currently staying elsewhere. A man who answered the door on Thursday declined to comment.
Despite a window and some of the brick work now boarded up at the front of the house, there was no sign of damage to the narrow front gate to the drive.
Neighbours told the Post they didn't hear anything at the time.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Around 3.15am on October 18, police and other emergency services were called to a report of a tractor or JCB having crashed into a house in Dunkenny Road.
"The two occupants of the house were uninjured in the incident and due to the damage to the house, they were provided with accommodation elsewhere.
"Inquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing. Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Drumchapel police on their non-emergency 101 number.
