Police are investigating after the body of a man was discovered in the Drumchapel area on Tuesday, November 6.
Officers were called to a footpath near to Kinfauns Drive around 7.45am.
Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, which officers are treating as unexplained at this time.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A large area of waste ground has been cordoned off from Ledmore Drive, around Kinfauns Drive, past St Clare’s Primary School and up to Drumchapel High.
Up to nine Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service vehicles descended on the area early this morning after the alarm was raised.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 7.48am today to attend an incident on Kilcloy Avenue in Drumchapel.
“We dispatched two ambulances to the scene.”
