A popular Clydebank delivery driver has hung up his keys for the final time as he retires after two decades.
Bob Jameson said farewell to his colleagues at Asda Clydebank on Monday, March 27, after 18 years of working at the store.
The 66-year-old has been praised for his kindness in the local community over the years.
At Christmas, Bob, affectionately known as 'Boab,' would dress up like Santa Claus as he carried out his home shopping deliveries.
Now, he plans to jet off and spend his retirement in sunny Spain - which is only a tad warmer than Clydebank.
Bob's colleagues hailed him as someone "who would do anything for anyone".
Bankies said their own farewells on social media.
One person wrote: "He was such a lovely guy and I wish him all the best for the future."
A second added: "All the best Boab! Delivered my shopping up six flights of stairs when I broke my ankle last May.
"Was forever grateful. Happy retirement, it's well deserved."
A third commented: "A long and happy retirement to you Boab, one in a million."
From all at the Post, happy retirement Bob!
