YOUNG Peacefully, after a long battle, at Mearnskirk Hospital, on Friday 21st February, only days before her 94th birthday, Sophie( nee Kennedy) beloved wife of the late Dr H Boyd Young (Duntocher House, Duntocher) and originally of Orinsay, Lochs, Isle of Lewis. Loving mother of Joanne, Hugh and Murdo, devoted granny of Craig, Fiona, Lindsey, Stewart, Murdo, Paul and great gran to wee Jack. A loved and respected mother in law to Stewart, Linda and Marie and beloved aunt of many. Funeral service on Monday 3rd March at 10.30 am at Broom Parish Church, Newton Mearns, thereafter to Old Dalnottar Cemetery, Great Western Road, Clydebank arriving approximately 11.45 am.
