THE gradual demolition of one of Drumchapel’s long-standing high flats is well under way. An ultra-high reach machine is slowly taking down 15 Linkwood Crescent after work began early in November. The site was handed over to contractors TDS in late April after the final hold-out resident moved out.
Glasgow Housing Association said work is expected to finish in January, weather permitting, with all work on the site is expected to be completed by April. They did not specify any future plans for the land.
