Repairs totalling £530,000 are set to be carried out at the Clydebank campus of West College Scotland over the next five years.
The college has assured it will continue to work with its partners to ensure the facility offers “the best possible experience” for students.
A spokesman for West College Scotland told the Post: “We continue to speak to and work with the Scottish Funding Council and all of our partners on a range of matters including maintenance and renewal to ensure that all of our students get the best possible experience.”
Responding to Jackie Baillie MSP’s description of the repair bill as “shocking”, Gil Paterson MSP said: “The SNP government have spent upwards of £730 million on the college estate since they first took office in 2007/8.”
