Children at Antonine Primary School recently participated in Drumchapel’s ‘Clean Up Week’ - helping to pick up rubbish and look after the community.
The pupils are working towards their Eco-Schools Green Flag.
Ruth Anderson, child development officer, said: “We had a good turnout and support from parents and children. Everyone took an active role in picking up litter, helping to make the surrounding area a more attractive, welcoming environment and most importantly we all had fun.”
“The pupils learned the importance of creating a safe litter free environment and the important role, they can play in their community.”
