Clydebank High School has won the MacKinnon Cup - West Dunbartonshire’s debating competition - for the third time in a row.
The competition took place at Dumbarton Academy on Friday, June 15, and involved the five West Dunbartonshire schools.
S4 pupils Amelia Dalziel and Adrian Griffith were supported by Niamh Friel and Davina Turner, and they were proposing a motion against Vale of Leven Academy.
The motion was: “This house believes that debating should be an integral part of the English curriculum.”
Amelia won best speaker of the competition, alongside a pupil from Dumbarton Academy.
