A MAN has been arrested after a "stabbing" attack in Drumchapel.
Police confirmed a 26-year-old had been charged with the alleged serious assault of a 20-year-old man outside a row of shops and takeaways in Drumry Road East yesterday.
Our sister paper, The Evening Times, exclusively reported how emergency services rushed to the scene after the alarm was raised at around 7.10pm.
The victim was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. He is understood to be in stable condition.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault on a 20-year-old man in Drumry Road East on Sunday, January 6.
"The injured man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"The 26-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, January 8."
