HOME BUYERS queued throughout the night to secure a new house at a Clydebank development.
More than 40 would-be buyers pitched up from 3.30am on Saturday February 9, to be first in line to reserve their dream home when they went on sale at 10.30am.
Located on Queen Mary Avenue, work has started on the new Miller Homes’ Braidfields development of 88 three and four-bedroom properties, with the first homes expected to be ready to move into in early autumn 2019.
Louise Caldwell, sales director for Miller Homes West, said: “Our new Braidfields development has proven very successful since launching with huge interest in the family homes – and all of the homes that were released on the day sold.
“With its close proximity to Glasgow city centre, strong commuting links and plentiful local amenities, Clydebank is a great place to set up home.
“The town also has a rich heritage and extremely strong sense of community so is ideal for bringing up a family.”

Help to Buy is also available on the three bedroom ‘Meldrum’ and ‘Urquhart’ house types, with prices starting from £167,000.
Interested buyers can visit the sales manager at the Troon Suite, Great Western Golf, 2700 Great Western Road, from Thursday-Monday, 10.30am-5.30pm.
