OFFICERS are carrying out enquiries to trace two women who stole from Primark, before allegedly assaulting two security guards.
The pair were in the store at Clyde Shopping Centre on Tuesday, June 18, at around 2.10pm.
A security guard observed the pair, both aged between 18-25, making their way through the shop, removing items from hangers and concealing them within bags and on their person.
They were then seen leaving the store without paying for the £184 worth of stock, and the Primark security guard notified a centre security guard.

One of the women pushed the Primark guard when he approached them, before they ran off. They were chased by both guards and the pair assaulted them by throwing punches. The stolen items were dropped, and the alleged thieves made off.
Enquiries are ongoing.
