A DOG WALKER who came across rat poison in Victoria Park has warned others about the discovery.
Claire Connelly who was walking her dog Millie in the park took to social media to explain what happened.
Claire said: “Have just been in Victoria Park walking Millie and noticed her sniffing at something on the ground (top corner of the main grassy bit, second gate after the main entrance).

“Luckily she didn’t eat any of it but taking her to the vet to get checked just to be safe! Notified the park staff and they confirmed it was rat poison but had not been put there by them.”
Claire's post last week received more than 200 shares from others hoping to warn those who use the park.
