YOUNGSTERS had a blast during the October week thanks to Golden Friendships.
A fun club was organised for Monday and Wednesday and the Post’s photographer went along to take some snaps.
Jim McLaren, founder of the charity, said more than 270 children and their parents and carers turned up over the two days.

Entertainment host Pat Doogan brought along his friend from Blackpool - Magic Malky - to surprise the youngsters and provide them with lots of laughs.
Jim told the Post: “They were two very successful days and we have four more planned for during the Christmas holidays.”
