A WEST Scotland MSP has been awarded the “one to watch” accolade at this year’s Herald Scottish Politician of the Year Awards.
Ross Greer MSP is the youngest to ever win the award and came ahead of competition from Scottish Conservative MSPs Liam Kerr and Michelle Ballantyne.
The Green MSP said: “It was great to be recognised. I’ve had the huge privilege of doing this job alongside so many fantastic community campaigners.

“Over the last three years I feel we’ve made a real impact – and I’m sure Piers Morgan having a full-blown tantrum at me on live TV earlier this year didn’t hurt either.”
