A DALMUIR community club has officially named their new theatre room after the very first person to attend Golden Friendships.
In 2017, when Jim McLaren organised an open day of the club, Laura McArdle was the first person to come through the doors.
Last week, a plaque for The McArdle Suite was unveiled at the first family theatre night, which will sit above the doors.

For every month this year, an entertainment night has been sponsored by a business, so the shows are free for members of the community to attend.
