POLICE Scotland have released images taken from above during the blaze at the Kilpatrick Hills.
The force's air unit were on hand to assist the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as they tackled the fire.
A post on Twitter read: "Police helicopter assisted @fire_scot at Kilpatrick Hills yesterday evening and this morning as they tackled moorland fires. Challenging conditions and terrain. #policeairsupport."
