The first high school across Clydebank and north-west Glasgow with a coronavirus case has been reported.
NHS bosses announced that Knightswood Secondary was amongst the schools where contact tracing is underway.
It follows cases at Edinbarnet Primary, St Ninian's Primary and Knightswood Primary. As with those schools, the NHS said there was no evidence of transmission within the school.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde said: "To respect and maintain patient confidentiality, no further details will be released but we can confirm close contacts are being advised to self-isolate and being given advice and support.
"Apart from those who are identified as close contacts, all other staff and pupils can continue to attend as normal. There is no risk to the wider community."
The latest cases were announced after First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the three-month high in coronavirus cases in Scotland was "undoubtedly a concern".
She said she felt "a greater sense of anxiety today" than at any time "probably for the last couple of months".
In the last 24 hours, 160 new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded, the highest total since May 16 and an increase on the 123 announced on Sunday.
It brings the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 20,478.
The majority of new cases are in the central belt, with 69 in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board area and 27 in Lanarkshire.
