West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare has issued an update on their services as they begin to return to some form of normality.
Last month the charity reopened its food distribution centres after being forced to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With centres closed during lockdown the foodshare provided food parcels to those most in need across the region in partnership with the council and Food for Thought with the charity reporting a 48 per cent rise in those seeking their services.
Distribution centres have now reopened but they no longer have the seating area inside the centres and can only have four people inside at any time.
Due to this, those attending may need to wait a little longer to be seen than before.

They have hand sanitising stations and ask that masks are worn and will take your name, address and phone number on arrival for track and trace purposes.
The charity also asks for those attending the centres to complete a short form so they can then refer you to the relevant organisation to get support to address any issues you have to move out of food insecurity.
The distribution centres are in Alexandria CE Centre, Thursdays, 11am – 12.30pm, Concord Centre, Dumbarton, Fridays, 11am – 12.30pm, Hub CE Centre, Clydebank, Fridays, 1pm – 2.30pm.
