THE steam train made famous in the Harry Potter film series is due to pass through West Dunbartonshire train stations today.
The locomotive and carriages from the ‘Jacobite’ train are due to travel south at the end of their summer season taking passengers along the scenic West Highland rail line between Fort William and Mallaig.
The train starred as the Hogwarts Express in several instalments of the famous fantasy film series, with filming locations including the spectacular Glenfinnan Viaduct at the head of Loch Shiel.
The train, which is travelling to its winter base at Carnforth in Lancashire, is due to pass through the area at the following times on Monday:
