Almost £1 million in additional support is to be given to pupils in Clydebank to compensate for any loss of learning as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Schools have received guidance on recovery planning, engagement and building confidence and resilience, and are currently developing tailored supports for young people in line with the principles of the Curriculum for Excellence which will develop individual talent, knowledge and skills.
The financial support, which is coming from the Scottish Government’s Attainment Challenge Fund, will also help schools to provide guidance and direction, by identifying areas requiring additional support.
