A 33-YEAR-OLD man was rushed to hospital after being attacked in a park in Knightswood.
The man was walking in Netherton Park, near to Shafton Road, at around 10.45pm on Friday, September 25 when he was approached and assaulted by an unknown person.
Emergency services attended and the victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a laceration.
Detective Constable David Orr from Drumchapel CID said: “Details of the suspect and the circumstances surrounding this incident are limited at this stage and it is vital that anyone with information comes forward.
“I would appeal to anyone who was within Netherton Park last Friday night, who may have witnessed the incident, or noticed anything at all suspicious, to please get in touch."
