Bankies have contributed to more than £3million in donations this month to three life-saving charities impacted by Covid-19.
The Express store in Hardgate supported the Tesco Health Charity Partnership appeal to raise money for Cancer Research UK, the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK from September 1 to 13.
Oonagh Turnbull, head of health campaigns at Tesco said: “This has been an incredibly tough year for many so far and hopefully this donation will help those directly affected by cancer, heart and circulatory diseases or diabetes.”

Over the 13-day in-store appeal Scottish customer donations amounted to nearly £1.5m, with Tesco matching the contributions.
All funds will be split equally and go directly to the three charities who have faced funding crunches
