A man who was hit by a train last night at Singer rail station is recovering in hospital.
British Transport Police (BTP) said they attended the station at 11.01pm on Wednesday, October 7, after reports of a casualty on the tracks.
They said the injuries were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
ScotRail said last night that an incident between Westerton and Dalmuir stations had forced the cancellation of all services between the stations. They resumed on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson from BTP said: "British Transport Police were called to Singer railway station at 11.01pm yesterday evening following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Officers attended and a man was taken to a local hospital where he remains. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious."
