Clydebank's Golden Friendships charity is to hand out free packed lunches for the area's children during the forthcoming school holiday.
The lunches will also reach schoolchildren in Old Kilpatrick as well as Dalmuir, where Golden Friendships is based, with the help of a community food-sharing project.
Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels will provide a distribution point to help families in the area who may struggle financially while schools are closed.

Residents who wish to collect a packed lunch can visit the Old Kilpatrick distribution point at the main entrance to the Gavinburn Business Park, the former bus depot on Dumbarton Road.
The food parcels will be available between 12pm and 1pm on Friday, October 9, and at the same times from Monday, October 12 to Friday, October 16.
The lunches will be available for collection from tables under cover of the gazebo.
