A man has been charged with assaulting police officers following a report of a disturbance at a property in Faifley.
Officers were called to an address in Watchmeal Crescent on September 2.
While there they noted the presence of a 28-year-old man who officers knew was wanted in connection with another matter.
According to police, the man became violent towards officers and resisted their attempts to arrest him.

The man was eventually restrained and taken to Clydebank police office to be interviewed.
He was charged with three counts of police assault and one of resisting arrest and was held in custody overnight to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court.
