Council bosses have announced a halt to new repairs in their properties unless considered urgent, until at least November 16.

The council said there are an increased number of repairs currently due to a backlog from earlier this year when similar rules applied.

Announcing the change, WDC wrote on Facebook: “If you reported a non urgent repair before or during lockdown, your request is being processed and a member of the team will contact you to advise when work has been scheduled.”
