CALLING all budding train drivers! If you've ever wanted to know what the view from the driver's cab looks like on a journey towards Dalmuir, a new addition to a popular simulator game has all the answers.
Rivet Games, who produce extra downloadable content for the Train Simulator game, have added a new route for players covering a journey all the way from Springburn to Helensburgh Central, via Glasgow Queen Street, Dalmuir and Dumbarton.
A total of 43 new stations in the Glasgow area have been added to the game, including Balloch, Dumbarton Central, Milngavie, Dalmuir, Anniesland and many more.
Players can sit back and enjoy the views as their “train” rumbles through the east end of Glasgow, the underground section of the line through Glasgow Queen Street and Charing Cross, and the city’s north-west suburbs before skirting the banks of the Clyde and passing by rolling fields en route to Helensburgh.
You can play the game via PC by downloading Train Simulator here and then adding the related downloadable content from here.
