BANKIES are being asked to take note of changes to bin collection schedules in the area over Christmas and New Year.
If your bins are normally collected on a Friday, your scheduled uplift on December 25 will instead happen on Sunday, December 27.
Similarly, there will be no bin uplifts on Friday, January 1; instead, bins due to be collected on those days will be collected on Sunday, January 3.
All other collection days remain unaffected.

Meanwhile, West Dunbartonshire’s recycling centres, on Erskine Ferry Road in Old Kilpatrick and at Dalmoak near Dumbarton, will remain open for most of the festive season, closing only on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
On all other days both facilities will be open from 8am until 5.30pm.
The council is also asking people to make sure that items such as Christmas cards, wrapping paper, food, packaging and Christmas trees are put out for recycling and not included in the general household waste bin for landfill.
According to the latest statistics, 43.4 per cent of West Dunbartonshire’s household waste is sent for recycling during the course of the year.
