A RARE, high-definition slideshow reveals a disused rail which linked West Dunbartonshire together.
The 11-minute clip entitled "GLASGOW'S DISUSED RAILWAYS - Clydebank to Dumbarton 1982" was uploaded by YouTuber "Douglas Thomson" to the popular media streaming channel.
In the video, the abandoned railway line with which linked Clydebank to Dumbarton is revealed in its working 1982 state, showing the entire route including every former station and main structure along the line.
The photos are from Douglas's very own fully restored original colour collection of photographs.
Now, the railway line is completely disused with overgrown plants and the tracks completely removed.
