The Scotland-wide yellow weather warning over the weekend left parts of Clydebank with severe flooding.
Dalmuir's rail line and part of Kilbowie Road in the town centre were both underwater with downpours on Saturday.
Around 7pm on Saturday evening, fire crews were called out to pull out a Ford Fiesta after it was floating in a deep puddle of water near the Clyde Shopping Centre.
And others were using their cars to push Bankies that were stuck in the water.
On Sunday morning at around 8am, Network Rail confirmed that the severe rainfall from Saturday flooded the railway between Dalmuir and Clydebank forcing the transport company to temporarily close the line which reopened later on Sunday evening.
Network Rail were also left to put an emergency speed restriction of 40mph in place between Bowling and Westerton due to the severe weather.
The @metoffice have issued a yellow weather warning for more heavy showers and thunderstorms today across Scotland. Previous rainfall has already flooded the railway between Dalmuir and Clydebank, therefore the line will be closed today between Dalmuir - Hyndland via Yoker. /1 pic.twitter.com/GtP6TWPBaC
