A MAN was taken to hospital after being assaulted at a block of flats in Clydebank at the weekend.
Police officers were called to the Peel View tower block in North Drumry early on Sunday morning after receiving a call from a member of the public reporting that a man had been attacked.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man who had been assaulted in Peel View, Clydebank, around 6.20am on Sunday, 12 September.
“The 29-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University to receive treatment for a cut on his throat.
“The injury was not life threatening.”
Police enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information about those responsible for the attack, is being asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0971 of September 12.
