KIND-HEARTED staff and customers at a Clydebank homeware store have delivered Christmas gifts to residents at a local care home.
Colleagues at the Dunelm store in the Clyde Shopping Centre donated the gifts as part of the firm's Delivering Joy campaign, which saw Bankies purchase gifts for people in need in the local community.
Edinbarnet activity coordinator Tina Brammel said: “We are incredibly grateful to our local community and to Dunelm for coming together to help our residents and staff have the best Christmas possible after another tough year.”
The scheme was only launched last year and had already donated 20,000 gifts across the UK.

Clydebank shoppers were encouraged to select a gift tag in thestore detailing the age, gender and interests of a recipient to buy a gift for, with purchased gifts then dropped off at in-store donation points.
Manager of the Sylvania Way store, Karen McDonald, said: “It has been another challenging year for many and with the support of our customers, Dunelm is committed to helping those within our local communities who are less fortunate this Christmas.
“I would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers who have generously given gifts to help spread joy this Christmas to those that would have otherwise gone without.”
