A KEY road for Clydebank motorists is undergoing essential carriageway surfacing work.
The project on the A814 Dumbarton Road covers the stretch of road in Bowling, from Littlemill Court to Manse Road, and will be undertaken in three separate phases.
Work began on July 18 and is set to last for three weeks. It will be carried about between 8am and 6pm each day.
West Dunbartonshire Council is warning drivers that during this period the road will be closed to traffic due to insufficient road width.
However, once each phase is fully completed the road will reopen to local residents.
Diversions are available via A82 Great Western Road – Mountblow Road and vice versa.
There will be traffic Marshalls on site in the village to assist road users during this project.
