Fire crews are battling a blaze at a former care home in Dalmuir.
The fire broke out at Frank Downie House care home in Ottawa Crescent at around 9.45pm (August 6) with emergency services currently on the scene.
Scottish Fire and Rescue have confirmed that six appliances were called to the scene.
Police are also currently in attendance.
Roads in the area have been closed and residents have been evacuated to Clydemuir Primary School.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: "The emergency services are dealing with a fire in Ottawa Crescent, Clydebank.
"Roads in the area have been closed and residents have been evacuated as a precaution. Avoid the area. Clydemuir Primary School has been opened for anyone evacuated and you should keep windows closed."
A source told the Post that the surrounding area has been evacuated whilst crews are in attendance.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that there are no reported injuries.
A spokesperson for SFRS said: “We were alerted at 9.36pm on Saturday, August 6 to reports of a fire affecting a derelict building on Ottawa Crescent, Clydebank.
“Operations Control mobilised six appliances to the scene, where crews remain in attendance as they work to extinguish the fire.
“There are no reported casualties at this time.”
