A Clydebank-based businesswoman was among the winners to be honoured at a prestigious awards ceremony recently.
Susan Douglas-Scott, chair of the board of directors at the NHS Golden Jubilee, scooped the Inspirational Leaders 2022 prize at this year’s Scottish Women’s Awards.
The annual event was held at the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow on October 27 and was hosted by Oceanic Events.
The Scottish Women’s Awards looks to recognise the women whose exceptional efforts in the present are paving the way for the future.
Winners were decided by votes from members of the public with the goal of celebrating women across Scotland who are making a difference and doing remarkable work.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Women’s Awards 2022 said: “We are delighted to bring back the Scottish Women’s Awards and are sure that this year will bring its fair share of brilliant inspiration.
“We are excited to recognise those who are pushing boundaries and showing the world that there is no limit to the things that women can achieve.”
