A CLYDEBANK care home is to create a boost for jobs in the area after its owners announced a recruitment drive in Scotland would create 800 new roles.
Clyde Court Care Home, on South Avenue, is one of a number of facilities under the Four Seasons Health Care ownership that will see new roles created for those hoping to work as a career.
Other sites that will benefit from the recruitment scheme are Edinburgh, Glasgow, Irvine, Dunbar, Fife, Angus, Ayrshire, Irvine, Kirkintilloch, and Perth.
Alan Logan, a care assistant at Burlington Court Care Home in Glasgow, urged anyone looking to move into health care to grab the opportunity.
He said: “I chose to work in care because I wanted to be in a role where I was able to help people live comfortably and support them through their later years.
"I first joined Four Seasons as a care assistant in 2009 and recently returned after working with the NHS for a while.
"Since coming back I’ve valued how supportive and compassionate our team are, as well as building close personal relationships with our residents.
"For me, taking time to understand each resident’s individual needs is such a key part of our job and why I find it so rewarding."
Four Seasons Health Care Group is one of the UK’s largest independent healthcare providers.
