The musical icon's death was announced yesterday, following a short illness. She was 79.
The former Wet Wet Wet frontman shared a musical tribute on his Facebook page.
He said: "I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Christine McVie. What a loss, a beautiful songwriter with an incredible imagination.
"Many a summer night was spent listening to her beautiful songs as I would sit and watch the sun dip from the sky. We'll all miss you Christine.
