GREEN-FINGERED school and nursery pupils are being encouraged to design a colourful and sustainable garden as part of a national contest.
Keep Scotland Beautiful is urging local youngsters to participate in this year’s Pocket Garden Design Competition.
The designers of the best entries will be invited to build and grow their garden at school before filming or photographing it to be displayed as part of an online interactive garden in June.
Entries this year should reflect the interlinked themes of A Garden of Celebration, One Planet Picnic and Wildlife Gardening.
Eve Keepax, of Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: “I’m looking forward to seeing designs that help to make 2023 a year full of celebration.”
Designs must be submitted by email to oneplanetpicnic@keepscotlandbeautiful.org no later than 5pm on February 22.
