A MAN was found seriously injured in a flat in Clydebank in the early hours of this morning.

Access to the Castle View properties is currently restricted as cops probe the incident.

Police Scotland confirmed the man, aged 24, was found within a home just after 5am on Friday morning. He was then taken to hospital.

A spokesman told the Post: "Around 5.05am on Friday, February 3, police were called after 24-year-old man was found seriously injured within a flat in Castle View, Radnor Street, Clydebank.

"He was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe his condition as serious.

"Enquiries into how he came about his injuries are continuing."

Clydebank Housing Association, the group who looks after the block, said in a Tweet they were working with police to allow access to the building again and would update residents as soon as they could.
