CLYDEBANK Football Club has paid tribute to former Scotland goalkeeper Billy Thomson following his death, aged 64.
Thomson played a couple of games for the Bankies during the 1990s after a show-stopping run at Dundee United in the late 1980s.
The Tayside club announced his passing on Monday, February 6.
A Dundee United spokesperson said: "We are saddened to learn of the passing of former player and Hall of Fame inductee Billy Thomson at the age of 64.
"Everyone at Dundee United would like to extend their condolences to Billy's family and friends."
A Clydebank FC spokesperson added: "Sad news that Billy Thomson has passed away aged 64.
"Billy played a couple of games for us back in the 90s, and all at the Bankies would like to pass on our condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time."

Thomson also featured for Partick Thistle, Rangers, Motherwell, Dundee, and St Mirren during his career before retiring in 1996.
He then went on to have coaching spells with Rangers and Kilmarnock. He was Stranraer's goalkeeping coach this season.
