WEST Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare (WDCF) has issued an appeal for donations of food items and toiletries from members of the public.
The food bank says it is running low on all food items and would appreciate any help.
Items needed:
- Tinned potatoes and meats.
- Tomato ketchup, brown sauce, vinegar, and salt.
- Mayonnaise and cooking oil.
- Tinned vegetables, macaroni cheese, and ravioli.
- Cheesy pasta.
- Jams and spreads.
- Rice (bags or microwaveable).
- Rice sauces (curry, sweet and sour, chilli etc).
- Pasta sauces; sugar, coffee, and UHT milk.
- Stock cubes and gravy; lentils, split peas, and mixed broth vegetables.
- Pasta ‘n’ sauce packets.
Toilet rolls and washing-up liquid are also needed, along with toiletry items such as deodorant, shampoo, shower gel, soap, and toothpaste.

Donations of money can also be given to the charity by bank transfer – A/C 00219638, sort code 60-01-73, account name ‘West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare’.
