BANKIES have woken up to more wintry conditions this morning - with a further weather warning in place for the weekend.
A yellow warning for snow and ice will last until 10am today with the Met Office advising that some roads and railway journeys are likely to be affected.
Drivers are being advised to plan ahead and ensure they have sufficient fuel, warm clothing, food, water and a charged mobile in case of any delays.
ScotRail has urged passengers to take ‘extra care’ while out and about and has said that staff are working to keep station platforms ‘salted and safe’.
