A yellow weather warning has been issued for Clydebank, with overnight snow and ice forecast by the Met Office.
The warning will be in place from 5pm this evening until 11am on Tuesday.
Overnight snow showers are expected to cause slippery surfaces and unsafe conditions on untreated roads and cycle paths.
The Met Office says drivers and public transport users could see longer journey times, and has warned that icy patches on pavements and paths could cause slips and falls.
Residents are advised to plan their route and check for delays and road closures before setting off.
The warning is in place across much of the UK, with cold conditions expected to hit areas throughout Scotland, part of Northern Ireland, and most of England overnight.
