1. Vandals destroy toys at nursery
Outdoor toys at a nursery in Clydebank were destroyed by a group of heartless vandals leaving youngsters devastated at being unable to play outside.
Graffiti was daubed on the kids' favourite toys which included a rocking horse and a dolls house.
The group sprayed swear words on the fencing of the enclosed decking area at Bright Beginnings Nursery in Clydebank Business Park.
This was the fourth time the nursery had been targeted by vandals.
2. Pupils show off talent in the final of St Eunan's Got Talent
Pupils at St Eunan's Primary School in Drumry showed they had talent before the school broke up for the Easter break.
Youngsters had to audition to secure a place in the final of the St Eunan's Got Talent showcase.
They then performed their special skill before an audience of pupils and teachers.
Unfortunately, Simon Cowell, Danni Minogue, and Sharon Osbourne were unable to make it so staff members stepped in to form the judging panel.
3. Old friends reunited on the frontline in Iraq
Two former school friends who had lost touch were reunited on the frontline in Iraq.
Steve O'Neill and Mick McConnell had not seen each other since high school but after years apart they had a chance encounter in Basra.
The two mates - Sergeant O'Neill and Corporal McConnell - were able to reminisce about Clydebank to keep the homesickness at bay.
The duo had attended St Andrew's High School which was located in Whitecrook.
4. Pirate fun day at Clyde Shopping Centre
Young pirates were showing off their handy work at a fun day in the Clyde Shopping Centre.
Children from across the town were kept busy over the Easter holidays by making colourful pirate hats and costumes.
5.Youngster with cerebral palsy closer to achieving dream
A youngster who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy was closer to achieving her dream of swimming with dolphins thanks to a generous donation.
Rebekkah McCormack and her mum Denise were presented with a cheque for £3,000 from kind-hearted staff at ASDA.
Denise was trying to raise funds to take Rebekkah to Florida for special dolphin therapy - and the workers at ASDA Clydebank were more than happy to help out.
Staff raised money by selling dolphin-shaped trolley keys, face painting, and placing donation buckets at the ends of all of the checkouts.
6. Porter pens poem about Duntocher Hotel
A former employee of the Duntocher Hotel, which was demolished at the start of 2005, penned a heartwarming poem about his time there.
Ian Hoban, who was 57 years old at the time, worked as a cleaner at the hotel.
The Faifley resident decided to write a poem in memory of his former workplace.
