Glasgow actor James McAvoy was spotted at the Met Gala.
The Atonement star swapped Drumchapel for New York City as he attended Monday night's extravagant event, often regarded as one of the fashion highlights of the year.
James, 44, posed for photos on the red carpet alongside his wife Lise Liberati.
He wore a black suit with a bejewelled tie and carried a fan as an accessory, while his wife wore a red leather gown.
Every year a host of famous faces don their most out-there outfits for a specific theme, and this year honoured the work of the late German designer Karl Lagerfeld, who was the creative director of Chanel until his death in 2019.
