A DALMUIR youth group are hoping to raise some much-needed funds with a plant sale this weekend.
The sixth Clydebank Scout Group has been putting on their annual fundraising event for over 10 years now and will have a selection of summer flowers and shrubs on offer to visitors on Saturday, May 13.
Organisers say the day has always proved popular with locals insisting their plants are in ‘far better condition’ than the local supermarkets and all flowers are locally grown.
In addition, there will be a tombola stall and a raffle for some nice planters as well as teas, coffees and biscuits available.
The doors open at 10am and the sale will run until 2pm, with the event happening at the Scout Hall on Park Road, Dalmuir.
