Lee Foylan, passed away in October 2022, which left his family heartbroken and shocked by the tragic loss.

The 29-year-old, from Drumchapel but lived in Clydebank, had been an ex-army veteran and was struggling with his mental health.

Announcing the event on Instagram Christie said: "Men Matter Scotland supports all men’s mental health, improves men's quality of life, expands and enriches men’s connections.

"They facilitate activities that support positive mental, physical and emotional health and well-being for men. Myself and Chelsea have been to one of the family nights and left feeling so motivated to do more for this charity as they do so much for men all across Scotland and deserve further recognition.

"They have also got a wall of remembrance where they have pictures of men who have sadly taken their own life and Lee was added a short time ago which we all thought was a touching tribute.

"We hope you can all make it and help us achieve our goal in raising as much money as we can for this amazing charity as well as celebrating Lee’s special birthday in his memory."

The event will start at 7pm at the Goodyear in Duntreath Avenue and will have a DJ, hypnotist, buffet and karaoke.

People who are unable to make it will be able to purchase a raffle ticket for £5 a strip and there will be limited tickets on the door to buy for £10.

All donations towards Mens Matter based in Drumchapel are welcome.
