A PERSON was treated by paramedics after a fire broke out at a home in Clydebank.
Emergency services responded to a property in Kilbowie Road after the alarm was raised at around 11.05pm last night.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene following reports of a small fire within the kitchen of a building.
However, it is understood that the blaze was extinguished before crews arrived.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service [SFRS] confirmed one person was treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
Firefighters left the area shortly after midnight.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.05pm on Sunday, June 11 to reports of a dwelling fire on Kilbowie Road, Clydebank.
"Operations control mobilised two fire appliances and one aerial appliance to the scene, however a small fire within the kitchen of the building was extinguished prior to our arrival.
"One casualty was handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service. Crews left just after midnight on Monday, June 12, after ensuring the area was safe."
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 11.15pm on June 11, 2023, to attend an incident on Kilbowie Road, Clydebank.
"Two ambulances were dispatched and a patient was treated at the scene.”
