The terrifying moment an explosion erupted from a boatyard fire has been captured on video.
The blaze ripped through the Dock Street boatyard in Clydebank with flames visible from beyond the West College Scotland campus.
Footage shows thick plumes of black smoke billowing from the building before an explosion shocks bystanders.
Emergency crews raced to the scene around 9pm on Thursday evening following reports of the fire.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
An investigation has been launched to establish what caused the fire.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 9.05pm on Thursday, June 15, police were called to a report of a fire at a boatyard on Dock Street, Clydebank.
"Officers attended to assist the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and enquiries are being carried out to establish the cause of the fire."
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment.
