UPDATE: Police confirmed Hugh has been traced.
CONCERNS are growing for a missing Knightswood pensioner who was last seen in a local park.
Hugh Baird was reported missing after he was last sighted in the vicinity of Clarion Crescent and Knightswood Park at around 11am yesterday.
The 85-year-old is described as 5ft 8ins in height, with short white hair, blue eyes, and facial hair.
He is believed to be wearing a green turquoise top and navy jacket.
Police say Hugh's family are very concerned for his welfare and are urging local residents to check private CCTV and outhouses for any sign of him.
Inspector Singh said: “I urge members of the public who reside in the area to check any private CCTV and outhouses they have access to for any signs of Hugh.
"Hugh is vulnerable and his family are very concerned for his welfare. I appeal to anyone who believes they may have seen Hugh to contact the police immediately”.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 1898 of June 22.
